Motion Designer

Description

Datarails is a financial Operating System for automating planning and analysis, enabling finance teams to continue using Excel's familiar spreadsheets and financial models.

Datarails is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Motion Designer with a strong marketing background to join our Growth team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating engaging user acquisition ads, as well as supporting various marketing and product-related motion materials.

The potential candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for crafting visually compelling content and a deep understanding of marketing dynamics.


What You'll Do

  • Create and edit high-quality motion graphics and video content for user acquisition ads, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and goals
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to develop motion design assets for a wide range of projects, including product demos, promotional videos, and social media campaigns
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually appealing motion graphics that resonate with our target audience
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in motion design, video editing, and marketing, including the use of AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in motion design and video editing, preferably within a marketing or product-focused role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of motion design and video editing projects, with an emphasis on user acquisition ads and marketing content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant design tools
  • Experience with AI tools for design and video editing to optimize workflow and creativity
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and creative teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (High-level English is a must)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
